Goal
Reinforce HKICH MONTH 2026 as a branded collective memories Hong Kong intangible cultural heritage.
Solutions
A comprehensive brand identity visual system demonstrate the hidden value of Hong Kong intangible culture is presented to local residence and visitors. Through dazzling, dynamic and daring journey of visuals in form of brochure, sign boards logo mark and merchandise application, a complete and novel image of individual intangible cultures are intended to capture sights.

GRAPHIC SYSTEM
Design elements from colour to form is inspired by previous design. Updates based on new observation inspire new design. Pastel palette to spark association to childhood drawings.
COLOUR SYSTEM
I created the brand identity based on the intangible traditional methodology of Interlocking stripes to reflect a simplified concept aesthetics. Simplied rectangular form give association to traditional Chinese 3D wooden puzzle construction technique.
RHYTHM
The whole brand experience is playful and constantly transmitting through time and location from modern Hong Kong to historical moments and back to presence. Timeline evoking rhythm and energy flow, square shape allow undisturbed journey with gatefold brochure.
